BRITs Spot Cat!

Earlier this year Cat entered the UK Songwriting Contest which is run by the BRIT Trust (famous for the UK BRIT Awards) and backed by The World Music Foundation, Music Aid, the BRIT School, The Guild of International Songwriters and Composers, The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters and other leading UK and international music industry professionals and organisations.

In August the results were published and three of Cat's songs had made it to the finals.

Two tracks, "Let It Go" and "Alright With Me" were finalists in the RnB section and "Love's Got Me Praying" made it to the final of the Pop section.

These songs (and others) have sparked a new interest in Cat's music and have been play-listed on London radio stations such as Nitro 99.1 FM, Station 89.8 FM, Unknown 90.2 FM,
Life FM (Internet only - www.lifefm.co.uk) and Smoke FM (Internet only - www.smokefm.co.uk).

Cat has also had a request for a CD of all her latest tracks from London's Heart 106.2 radio station and word has filtered through to the local press who plan to run an update on her career shortly. We will keep you informed of all future developments.
