After Richard recorded a magnificent piano track on "Lady Grinning Soul", a cover version of the original David Bowie song, sung by Paul Roberts on The Faith Band's debut album "Faith?", this comment appeared on the official David Bowie site -"The piano work is also extraordinary, and for a moment I honestly thought the intro was sampled, but it isn't."

http://tomraworth.com - Tom Raworth

Catacoustics are to team up with one of Britain's finest poets, Tom Raworth. Tom wrote a poem entitled "Catacoustics" and the band are to put some of it to music. I say some of it, as the poem is actually a whole book!

Some information about Tom Raworth:-

Tom Raworth - Poet Tom Raworth was born and grew up in London. During the 1970s he traveled and worked in the United States and Mexico, returning to England in 1977 to be Resident Poet at King's College, Cambridge, in which city he still lives. Since 1966 he has published more than 40 books and pamphlets of poetry, prose and translations, in several countries. His graphic work has been shown in France and Italy, and he has collaborated and performed with musicians (Steve Lacy, Joëlle Léandre), painters (Giovanni D'Agostino, Micaëla Henich) and other poets (Franco Beltrametti, Corrado Costa, Dario Villa). In 1991 he was invited to teach at the University of Cape Town: the first European writer to visit there for thirty years.

Tom Raworth has strong Irish connections - his mother's family, the Moores, lived in the same house as writer and playwright, Sean O Casey, during the composition of Juno and the Paycock. In 1990, Hardpressed Poetry issued a small selection from Raworth's Eternal Sections, with facing page translations into Irish by Eoghain O Hanluainn, to mark Tom's taking out of an Irish passport.
